Keyboard Shortcuts​

  • ctrl+shift+P - Open command palette
  • ctrl+K ctrl+S - Show keyboard shortcuts
  • alt+up or alt+down - Move line up/down
  • shift+alt+up or shift+alt+down - Copy line up/down
  • ctrl+shift+K - Delete current line
  • ctrl+shift+\ - Jump to matching bracket
  • ctrl+[ or ctrl+] - Indent/Outdent

Preview browser from within VS Code​

  • Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Type: Simple browser:Show
  • Indicate desired url to visit then Enter to confirm.
  • This will open the specified url to a new tab. This is best used in split editor view.

Open Github Repo in ipad​

  1. Log into your github account using Safari browser in ipad.
  2. Go to a repository.
  3. Type . to open VS Code in the browser.
