Pipenv

  • For a new project, do pipenv --python 3.7

  • To install packages, pipenv install <package_name>

  • To run script with environment activated: pipenv run <script>

  • To activate environment: pipenv shell

Starting a new project using pipenv​

  • Create repository.

  • On local directory, do git clone <repo_url>

  • Create pipenv.

  • For data science, (pipenv) install these minimum packages:

    • pandas
    • numpy
    • sklearn
    • logzero↗️

  • In VSCode, select flake as linter.
